Riot Games Adjusts Virtual Currency Prices Globally, Offers Bonuses in Affected Regions

Today we are reaching out to share a bit of information that you might not find too exciting: starting September 18th, virtual currency prices RP, VP, LoR Coins, Wild Cores, etc. will be adjusted on many regional servers. To help navigate this change and provide some relief, especially for players in regions seeing significant price increases, we're offering extra bonuses on virtual currency purchases through the client in impacted areas beginning September 4th at 9:00 AM PST for most regions.

It's important to note that Korea, Twan, and Japan will have alternative timelines - please refer to the below for specific information regarding their changes.

The shift towards adjusting prices is based on several factors including exchange rate fluctuations and regional economies. These adjustments m to create a more balanced environment across our global community by ensuring prices are consistent between regions.

With prices constantly changing, mntning equilibrium becomes increasingly challenging due to third-party marketplaces and potential price discrepancies. Our primary goal remns providing equal access for all players regardless of location.

Let's dive into the specifics:

For Rioters in Brazil:

• Brazil all platforms - Prices will increase by 14

For Rioters in Canada and Colombia:

• Canada, Colombia LATAM excluding Mexico - Prices will remn unchanged

For Rioters in Mexico:

• Mexico - Prices will decrease by approximately 15 to align with LATAM prices

In the Asia-Pacific region including Twan, Korea, Japan, and other markets:

• Twan - Will experience a Double Bonus Promo running from September 19th at 9:00 AM PST September 20th at 00:00 AM +8 GMT until October 3rd at 9:00 AM PST

• Korea - An additional 10 bonus promo will run from September 4th at 9:00 AM PST September 5th at 1:00 AM KST until September 22nd at 8:00 AM PST

• Japan - The exact date and time of price change along with the Double Bonus Promo detls will be announced through local game social channels
